Gloucester-based Pip and Chip has purchased a Mimaki JFX200-2513 EX flatbed from CMYUK. This 8 x4 ft, UV LED flatbed joins an existing Mimaki UJV-6042 MKII printer and 2 x Trotec Speedy laser cutting and engraving machines. Both Mimakis will share the workload of primarily printing acrylic bobbins that hold a wide variety of coloured threads used for cross stitching.

2601 has installed a Mimaki JFX200-2513 EX UV LED flatbed and a Mimaki UJV55-320 UV LED 3.2m roll-to-roll printer from CMYUK. This new investment plugs the gaps in the company’s production infrastructure, allowing it to offer greater versatility to clients.

Brett Martin is pleased to announce that Mimaki Europe BV, manufacturer of large format printing equipment, is the latest company to join its Approved Partner Programme. Although the two companies have worked together for years - with Brett Martin providing substrates for Mimaki's demo centre and exhibitions, as well as taking part in Mimaki's webinars during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown - the two parties have never formalised the relationship.

Wigan-based DM Signs has invested in new printing and finishing equipment from CMYUK. The family-owned firm has upgraded from an older Mimaki flatbed to the latest JFX 200-2513 EX model, and making the leap from a Summa f series cutter to a Kongsberg Esko X-44 digital cutting table. This equipment joins their existing Mimaki UCJV300-160 UV roll-to-roll printer as part of a major upgrade in capacity and capability coupled with a relocation to larger premises.

Banner Box Print Solutions is more than ready for the next phase of its 25-year tenure. Through CMYUK it has upgraded its Mimaki print capabilities, invested in a CNC router and migrated to a new dedicated factory space.

Banbury Litho is in transformation mode. The journey started 18 months ago expressly to transition the company towards a strong new future vision. Abbi Signs likes to keep it in the family. It’s been a busy few months for Lentico. The lenticular print specialist has acquired plastic card manufacturer Plastic Data Card in a deal that was completed in September 2020. The acquisition will see Lentico Directors Andrew Roblett and Robin Sumner join forces to take on the business, production facility and expertise of Plastic Data Card, while pooling the newly combined resources to expand and target new markets.
