Originally started as a reprographic printer in 1990, a stone’s throw from Charles de Gaulle airport, Roissy Copy took its first step towards large format printing in 2008. At the time, managing director Patrick Boudaud invested in a Fujifilm Acuity flatbed in order to tap into new markets, which the company has been successfully serving ever since.

SAS (Special Art Services) Graphics of Hove, East Sussex, is already seeing significant improvements in productivity and business opportunity following the installation of its latest investment, an Acuity Select X28 flatbed printer from Fujifilm that was installed in October 2016.

Fujifilm Corporation has announced that it is adding to its Acuity LED wide-format inkjet printer portfolio with the forthcoming launch of the Acuity LED 3200R, or to be precise, an OEM Mimaki UJV55-320. Fujifilm has announced the launch of an advanced new UV ink technology at FESPA 2015, called Uvijet OW. The newly launched ink range, which is used in the Inca Onset series, has been developed specifically with improved adhesion properties so that it can be used on a wider range of rigid and flexible plastic substrates.

UK based plastic former MiMtec placed an order for Fujifilm’s Acuity Advance Select wide format printer with Uvijet KV inks at Sign & Digital UK to create bespoke, branded objects in shorter runs with much lower set-up costs than are typical of screen printing.

Fujifilm says it is set to show visitors a wide variety of creative applications that can be produced with its Acuity large format printers and euromedia range of roll media. The company will also showcase the light industrial applications made possible by the use of its thermoforming UV-cured inkjet ink, Uvijet KV.
