Last I was at an industry tradeshow, lots of new stuff and great to meet industry leaders and fellow industry members. After working for technology companies for the last 35+ years i decided to do it differently this time. I decided that sharing is better than keeping information to yourself. Specially in our printing industry and textile markets, knowledge is kept close to the heart. Just in case the competitor is looking, might steal my idea or whatever reasoning you would like to come up with.

Transforming the famed ballroom at Mayfair’s iconic Claridges hotel into an Italian Palazzo for a Greek couple’s wedding was a piece of cake for special events company Kudos AV.

Kornit Digital (Nasdaq: KRNT), a worldwide market leader in digital textile printing technology, announced that OnPoint Manufacturing, an innovative leader in on-demand personalized apparel manufacturing, will be implementing Kornit Presto as a cornerstone of its manufacturing optimization efforts. The direct-to-fabric digital print system will be installed at the business’s Florence, Alabama facility.

Epson America has introduced its first desktop dye-sublimation printer – the 24-inch SureColor® F570. Delivering fast, reliable dye-sublimation printing right out of the box, the new SureColor F570 is ideal for promotional products and apparel decoration, including personalizing awards, mugs, mousepads, and garment embellishments. The new printer will be on display in Epson's booth (#5410 and #5610) at PRINTING United in Dallas, Tex. from Oct. 23-25, 2019.

As digital printing technology continues to advance, textiles businesses are increasingly seeing the benefits of digital inkjet. In fact, the adoption of digital printing technologies was estimated at 6% of all printed textiles at the end of last year, accounting for 2.6 billion square meters of printed fabric.

French RIP software specialist Caldera has announced RIP support for the new HP STITCH series of printers, having developed TextilePRO printer drivers specifically for the range. The new and intuitive workflow suite has been designed to enable fast, precise textile printing that will cut down on waste and error, resulting in more profitable production.
