FUJIFILM Imaging Colorants, Ltd. has announced global commercial availability of an expanded range of colours to its series of high performance RxD pigment dispersions for water-based inkjet ink formulation. Fujifilm now offers dispersions in Orange PO71, Green PG7, and Violet PV23 pigments. The new inkjet pigment dispersions are now available world-wide through Fujifilm’s Ink Solutions Group.

DDP group company JK Inks has inaugurated Novedrate 2, a new facility for the production of reactive inks at its headquarters site in Novedrate, just north of Milan. The new plant is fully dedicated to the production of reactive inks, which will be distributed in an innovative new packaging system. The move will enable JK Inks to expand its position in the digital textile market as a supplier of dye-sublimation, pigment, disperse and now the new Digistar Bellagio reactive inks.

In order to accelerate the growth of the global inkjet business, FUJIFILM Imaging Colorants, Inc. (Newcastle, Delaware, USA, hereinafter referred to as FFIC Inc.), a U.S. subsidiary of FUJIFILM Corporation will construct a new production plant for pigment dispersions, which is a colorant for water-based pigment inkjet inks. Construction will start in April 2021 and is scheduled for completion by 2022. The investment for this construction is approximately 19 million USD.
