Digitally printable media specialist, Soyang Europe is to return to Sign and Digital UK this year to launch its new materials collections to the sign and graphics market, as the company continues to target the wide format sector.

This week (10 – 13 January) Sun Chemical is presenting its portfolio of SunTex textile inkjet inks to the interior decoration and home furnishings markets on stand C28 in Hall 6, at Heimtextil 2017. Central to its offering at Heimtextil will be SunTex Encore, Sun Chemical’s range of direct print water-based pigment inks, which present significant advantages for a range of soft furnishings and interior décor print applications.

Mimaki has announced the launch of a brand-new textile printer; the Tx300P-1800B (Belt). The 1.8 metre wide printer is specifically designed to address the need in the textile and apparel industries for cost-effective, short run printing of textiles for products or samples.

EFI has acquired Optitex, an emerging, fast growing global player in integrated 3D design software that enables the textile industry's digital transformation and accelerates the adoption of fast fashion. With offices in the U.S., Italy, India, Hong Kong and Israel, privately held Optitex will be integrated into EFI's Productivity Software business unit.
