There were a lot of very good looking stands at Sign & Digital this year, but the one that really caught my attention was Epson. I was impressed at how well the company was able to seamlessly display the all-round capabilities of its SureColor eco-solvent and dye-sublimation printers featuring a wrapped car, wallpaper, signage and textiles, and how they were able to produce rich and perfectly-matched colours all blended together in a single display wall.

Roland DG has announced that its ErgoSoft Roland Edition 2 RIP software is now available for its Texart dye-sublimation wide format transfer printers. This is the latest RIP software developed by ErgoSoft, one of the premier RIP providers in the textile printing industry.

Mimaki is set to launch a new 3.2 m-wide direct sublimation inkjet printer model - Tx500P-3200DS - in January 2017.
