Esko is heading to Drupa with a brace of new launches designed to give print, display and packaging companies the tools to get the absolute most out of their equipment, their workflows and their staff.

MIS vendor Shuttleworth Business Systems says it is working in partnership with Esko to provide time saving solutions for its customers. The partnership allows Shuttleworth users to save administration time by passing job specification details directly from the Shuttleworth MIS into a pre-defined folder which is then imported directly into Esko’s Automation Engine.

Spanish large format print production company Verdú Digital is the first in the region to streamline operations with the Esko Kongsberg C64 multi-functional large format digital finishing system. With an annual production of more than 180.000 m2 of canvas, vinyl and textiles, the company has also invested in several Esko design and workflow software solutions to help better service customers across Europe, including key clients in France, Portugal and Italy.

Esko has launched a comprehensive update of its full Suite of software solutions with Esko Software Suite 14.1. The update includes a number of across-the-board enhancements, all developed to maximise ease of use, make implementation faster, improve support and deliver an even more outstanding customer experience.

Mimaki is working with ESKO to simplify digital packaging production for companies that produce packaging samples and mock-ups, as well as small packing runs and personalised packaged goods.

Esko is announcing a raft of new Kongsberg tools available for customers. The company says on top of the more than one hundred cutting blades, router bits and accessories, some of the latest tools include a psaligraphy (paper cutting) knife tool, perforation wheel and braille tool. All three tools are available for use on the Kongsberg XN, Kongsberg V and Kongsberg XL Series of digital finishing systems.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of Esko Kongsberg, a milestone celebration for the company as it celebrates its evolution from a manufacturer of drafting tables into a global supplier of digital finishing systems.

Fastsigns of Vancouver has recently invested in a new Esko Kongsberg V finishing table, bringing in-house many of the cutting and routing tasks it once had to subcontract to complete.

As part of an overall £1m investment strategy, Kent based Speedscreen has added a fully-featured super-wide Kongsberg C digital finishing system to its finishing department.
