Print professional Scott Evans was just 18 when he started out in the print industry seven years ago, opening his own sign company business called Customised. With little knowledge of the sector, Evans needed to learn the tricks of the trade in as short a time as possible, and so he approached Roland DG after recommendation from a colleague. He sought a compact desktop cutter that was easy to use and, most importantly, would help him make a success of his newfound business venture. After deciding on a Roland DG CAMM-1 GX-24 Desktop Cutter, the predecessor to the CAMM-1 GS-24, Customised was soon able to produce small graphics and signs that provided the stepping stone needed to progress in the industry.
