The cost pressure on print service providers is increasing. Prices for paper and raw materials continue to rise, while end customers do not accept higher prices. To achieve a sustainable profitability it all comes down to only one single measure: increase the degree of automation throughout print production – from prepress and print data preparation to printing and finishing.
Higher throughput. Faster turnaround. High print quality. Just in time. These criteria are the most important when selecting the right hardware and software for print service providers, and in particular for wide format printers. Increasing incoming orders with simultaneously decreasing print runs require the conversion to automated processes. The decisive factor here is a perfect interaction between software and hardware.
The International Graphic Arts Show in Tokyo opens its doors from 26 - 31 July 2018. The German software manufacturer OneVision Software AG will show its software solutions for the consistent automation of prepress workflows to professional visitors at two booths.
Twice as good: OneVision, the German manufacturer of automation software for prepress, is showing its solutions for the printing industry not only on the booth of its technology partner Canon Deutschland, but also on its own booth. The Wide Format Automation Suite in particular will be the focus of attention at the trade fair for large format printing in Berlin from 15 to 18 May 2018.
"Not only have we increased the number of jobs per day – we've also improved our profit margins." Together with our technology partner Canon Deutschland, a perfect interplay between Canon highspeed printing presses and OneVision's Wide Format Automation Suite was achieved for the joint customer. The result: a fully automated prepress workflow, optimum print data, and perfect printing results.
