NGS Printing is excited to announce the purchase and installation of their second D3 L-3200 cutting system. The ultra-productive D3 cutting system from Zünd features two independently operating heads seamlessly working together, thereby increasing capacity as well as saving time and space. In addition to routing, creasing, and knife-cutting capabilities, both NGS cutter configurations also include an automatic board-feeder and extension of the off-load area, which eliminates unnecessary labor and facilitates a non-stop production workflow.
Increased growth at Leeds-based Marshall Print had resulted in bottlenecks in the finishing department that were resolved by a fully automated Esko Kongsberg X24 digital cutting table with conveyor belt – sourced from and installed by CMYUK.
On Stand L10, Zünd UK is showcasing a new Zünd G3 3XL3200 fitted with the new 3.6kW Router, a powerful spindle featuring a pneumatic clamping system capable of routing materials at depths of up to 50mm and working with bits with shaft diameters of up to 10mm.
Roland DG will use Sign & Digital UK to launch its new GR-640/540/420 professional vinyl cutters, the latest additions to its CAMM-1 series.
On Stand D50, Graphtec GB will demonstrate the new FCX2000 series of flatbed plotter/cutters. They are available in three sizes (920 x 610, 920 x 1,200 and 920 x 1,800mm) and a choice of either a vacuum suction or electrostatic material hold-down facility, with the former being more suitable for heavier and thicker materials and the latter better suited to the processing of lighter-weight media. The plotter/cutters have a maximum cutting force of 9.8N (1Kgf) and a maximum cutting speed of 400mm/sec.
