Rugby retailer First XV has bought the UK’s first SureColor SC-F2100 DTG (Direct to Garment) printer from Epson reseller Xpres to help grow its own brand products business. Customers can now buy a wide range of colourful T-shirts with slogans like “Eat Sleep Rugby Repeat” through to “Harry Propper”, from its web site and Facebook page.
At FESPA 2018 Epson will demonstrate to Print Service Providers a comprehensive range of equipment and applications that will highlight the versatility, quality and performance of its latest generation of digital inkjet technology. Visitors can expect to see a broad range of applications, the use of innovative substrates and plenty of colourful design work.
After 83 years in the same Oslo location Sturlason AS Polyfoto has relocated to larger premises. At the same time it has updated the way it prints images with a SureColor SC-P10000 wide-format photographic printer.
Harrogate signage and graphics company AD Bell Sign Systems has started the year with its first Epson printer, the Epson SureColor SC-S80600 ten-colour solvent inkjet system. It has replaced a latex model and the result has won acclaim from car wrap designer customers who are impressed by the punchier vibrant colours now being achieved.
Threadster is a “British Style and British Made” textiles manufacturer which continues to expand, having recently added two additional Epson dye sublimation printers and a DTG machine, all supplied by digital transfer specialist Xpres. In just two days the company installed two SureColor SC-F9200 dye sublimation presses and its first SC-F2000 DTG printer which together have increased its production capacity by 30 per cent.
