Exclusive UK and Irish Mimaki distributor, Hybrid Services, has announced that the company’s new laminator – the Mimaki LA-160W that launched at FESPA 2018 – is now available for demonstration at its centrally located showroom.
The arrival of new equipment is a common scene at the Baker Labels factory in Brentwood. Managing Director Steve Baker continues his quest to invest and expand while encouraging and enthusing staff with printing inspiration. "We just love printing and there is always something new to learn, another technique or some advance in technology that excites us and inspires us. We've got vast experience in our team but have added young, fresh talent in recent months that have lots to learn. Wolverhampton based design and print specialists, Hughes Print, recently became Vivid Laminating Technology Ltd.’s first customer for their new 20 metre-per-minute Matrix MX-530S along with an Omni-Flow Deep Pile Auto Feeder. Hughes already had a Matrix MX-530P and were impressed by the quality and consistency of its output and so when it came to increasing their in-house capacity they looked to Vivid for a solution.
