With less than a week to go until Sign & Digital UK 2018 (SDUK), the team at Faversham House has announced the latest exhibitor news, product launches and competitions set to be showcased at this year’s event.

You might know him better as the ‘Car Park King’ as the remains of King Richard III were found buried under a car park in Leicester in 2012. So, how did his face end up in our wide-format printer?

InkTec is launching its new 3.2m wide Jetrix LXi8 LED-UV flatbed printer at Sign and Digital UK where it plans to demonstrate the printer running at speeds of over 206sqm per hour.

Jetrix printer sales are on the increase in the UK and as such the need to offer customers rapid technical support, InkTec has established an additional service centre to cover the North of England.

UK signage and large format digital print and wall coverings specialist Spectrum Sign and Display invested in a Jetrix KX7D UV printer last year, and according to director Julian Robinson, since it was up and running the printer has rattled through the work.

InkTec Europe has released a new, feature-packed software interface for its Jetrix KX printer range that adds significant productivity benefits.

Little can be seen of an insect’s fine detail when viewed by the human eye, but this new exhibition by British photographer Levon Biss at the Museum of Natural History in Oxford, takes this micro detail to a stunning new level. This exhibition features large scale images printed by Genesis Imaging, with its JETRIX UV flatbed printer producing the biggest pieces, featuring some of the most beautiful, surprising, and often outright bizarre microscopic form of insects.

CityDocs, a London-based managed print and document solutions company, has invested in one of Xerox’s flagship production print presses, the iGen4, to push the company’s print capabilities past 300 million mono and 65 million colour copies per annum.

Bath based Colour Studios has invested in a Jetrix KX7-D with white ink and a roll to roll system. As specialists in exhibition design and build, display graphics, modular systems and recyclable displays, the company wanted a printer that offered value for money coupled with flexibility and versatility.

Jetrix is offering three years of free UV lamps for every Jetrix UV Flatbed sold until the end of October.
