Silicon Valley printing technology company EFI and Australian packaging innovator Orora Limited have announced an expanded global partnership that will bring additional, state-of-the art EFI™ production technologies to key Orora operations.

During the recent EFI™ Connect users' conference in Las Vegas, EFI announced the addition of the EFI VUTEk® HS125 F4 and HS100 F4 inkjet presses for "Fast Graphics" out-of-home applications to its industry leading lineup of hybrid flatbed/roll superwide-format products. The two new printers reconfigure the eight ink channels of the VUTEk HS series platform in a CMYK x 2 setup, efficiently addressing the need for cost-effective production on banners, billboards, building wraps and similar applications.

The incredibly versatile a.berger LED Pop-Up Systems are quick to assemble and dismantle, light and practical, while remaining stable and flexible. After being introduced to the product by CMYUK, commercial print company, Northern Print, decided to purchase one for an upcoming exhibition.

New Home Media, a Lorton, Virginia-based signage printing business, will reach a new level of efficiency, productivity and quality following its significant investment in new technology from EFI, New Home Media purchased EFI™ VUTEk® LX3 Pro hybrid roll/flatbed and VUTEk 5r roll-to-roll LED inkjet superwide-format printers, along with a complete EFI Midmarket Print Suite developed specifically for superwide-format inkjet business and production workflow management.

EFI have announced that Reece Supply Company, a leading distributor for screen printers and signage and display graphics companies in the Southern U.S., will become a distributor of EFI™ inkjet products. Reece’s offerings will include EFI Wide Format and EFI VUTEk® digital inkjet printers for 3D thermoformed graphics, along with a range of EFI LED inkjet printers.

Safety and identification signage production company Safehouse Signs has boosted its throughput and quality, adding LED digital inkjet production with an EFI™ VUTEk® GS2000LX Pro wide-format printer from EFI. The new investment at Roanoke, Virginia-based Safehouse Signs is one of the many major upgrades in technology and infrastructure under owner Kevin Hudson, a veteran financial services executive who purchased the 40-year-old company late last year.

Global event marketing giant George P. Johnson has installed an EFI™ VUTEk® FabriVU® 340 soft signage printer in its Nashville production and graphics facility. The company is leveraging the superb quality and high output of the printer to meet growing demand for soft signage and solidify its position as one of the world’s top event marketing agencies.

EFI have reported that Northampton, U.K-based graphics production company Evolution has installed an EFI™ VUTEk® GS3250lx Pro LED hybrid roll/flatbed printer. Evolution chose the 3.2-metre wide printer for its speed, quality of build, and low downtime and running costs.

Sweden-based Storbildsbolaget is making a significant change in print production this month, switching brands for the first time to install a 3.4-metre EFI™ VUTEk® FabriVU® 340 soft signage printer from EFI.

EFI have announced that Sandton, South Africa-based Beith Digital has established a full soft signage offering for its customers and raised the bar for image quality and productivitywith its EFI™ VUTEk® FabriVU® 340 printer.
