The countdown is on for the largest wide format print event of 2015. In 35 days’ time, FESPA 2015 will open its doors to transport international printers from across the wide format universe into a galaxy of print!

In just over a month’s time (18-22 May 2015), the global wide format print community will be heading to Cologne - the biggest city in Germany’s prosperous Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan area - for FESPA 2015. While visitors to the exhibition will discover a galaxy of print, there is also plenty to discover outside of Koelnmesse in this cultural city.

The FESPA Fabric 2015 ‘Design a tee’ printed competition is now open for entries at www.fespafabric.com. Now in its fifth year, the competition, supported by GarmentPrinting.co.uk, invites anyone to submit a design for a printed t-shirt, inspired by the intergalactic theme of this year’s FESPA Global Expo (18-22 May 2015, Cologne, Germany), which includes FESPA Fabric the event dedicated to garment printing and decoration.

FESPA 2015 (18-22 May, Cologne, Germany) will build on the exhibition’s 50-year heritage as the leading event for the screen industrial sector with the introduction of a new Industrial Showcase Feature, designed to highlight the cutting edge innovations that are taking place in industrial printing using both screen and digital processes.

As part of its commitment to funding education and knowledge sharing events for its member community, FESPA has launched its first Nordic Congress, in partnership with its Nordic national associations: FESPA Norway Association, FESPA Finland Association, FESPA Sweden Association and Graphic Association Denmark. The congress titled, ‘Successful Printing - Driving Opportunities’, will take place from 24-25 March 2015 at Axelborg in Copenhagen, Denmark.

FESPA 2015 has announced details of its educational content programme, taking place from 18-22 May 2015 at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany.

FESPA’s new interior design showcase event, Printeriors, will host a dedicated conference in Rheinsaal 3 at Koelnmesse, on Thursday 21 May 2015 focusing on print for interior design. Wayne Hemingway will take centre stage in the keynote session where he’ll talk about the emotional impact of print, how it affects us and the inspiration it can offer.

FESPA today announces that FESPA Digital 2016 will mark its ten year anniversary by returning to the Amsterdam RAI from 8 – 11 March 2016. The four-day event will once again include FESPA Fabric, Printeriors and European Sign Expo.

Three of FESPA’s national associations are to host a Southern European Congress from 10-11 March, 2015, at the Confortel Barcelona, Spain, with the support of FESPA. FESPA France Association, FESPA España Association (Spain) and SIOTEC Association (Italy) will deliver two days of educational content, networking and knowledge sharing.

FESPA is staging four regional congresses in collaboration with its associations during the first half of 2015, as part of its educational commitment to its global print community. The four congresses will take place in Barcelona, Spain; Copenhagen, Denmark; Mexico City, Mexico and Johannesburg, South Africa.
