Gatsias Art, a Greek company with a long history in professional printing, has selected Epson's SureColor SC-P10000 for its photo printing.

Epson and world-renowned arts and design college Central Saint Martins have formed a collaboration that will support education and encourage students to experiment with its large format digital textile printers.

Epson will run at least seven different printer models at The Print Show this year. These will demonstrate the breadth of applications and high quality results achievable from its dye sublimation, textile, label, photographic, POS and signage printers.

Sign makers today have to work on a completely different basis compared to just a few years ago. There is more demand for delivery of a top-quality product at a lower price. And delivery needs to be fast.

Rugby retailer First XV has bought the UK’s first SureColor SC-F2100 DTG (Direct to Garment) printer from Epson reseller Xpres to help grow its own brand products business. Customers can now buy a wide range of colourful T-shirts with slogans like “Eat Sleep Rugby Repeat” through to “Harry Propper”, from its web site and Facebook page.

The Print Show will this year once again highlight the latest and greatest in wide-format print technology by featuring some of the leading brands from the global market, with HP set to use the event to showcase its new HP Latex R series in the UK for the first time.

At FESPA 2018 Epson will demonstrate to Print Service Providers a comprehensive range of equipment and applications that will highlight the versatility, quality and performance of its latest generation of digital inkjet technology. Visitors can expect to see a broad range of applications, the use of innovative substrates and plenty of colourful design work.

Epson has announced Edge Print RIP software, designed for F-Series textile printers. It’s bundled with new printers to help you get the best possible results, quickly, delivering high performance with Adobe’s PS core engine to process Post Script data for a variety of file formats. Running on Windows, with simple setup and no need for a dongle, it allows users to manage up to four printers with easy set up, providing simple file management, colour control, screening, step and repeat and nesting.

Epson America, Inc. have announced Best Label Inc., a privately-owned label manufacturer on the West Coast with facilities in Mexico and California, has purchased and installed the Epson SurePress® L-6034VW to expand their short-run label printing offerings for customers in several markets, including food, beverage, health, beauty, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, sports, automotive, agricultural, and chemical manufacturing. Best Label purchased the SurePress to produce high-quality, custom, pressure-sensitive labels printed on a variety of media.

After 83 years in the same Oslo location Sturlason AS Polyfoto has relocated to larger premises. At the same time it has updated the way it prints images with a SureColor SC-P10000 wide-format photographic printer.

Harrogate signage and graphics company AD Bell Sign Systems has started the year with its first Epson printer, the Epson SureColor SC-S80600 ten-colour solvent inkjet system. It has replaced a latex model and the result has won acclaim from car wrap designer customers who are impressed by the punchier vibrant colours now being achieved.

Epson America, Inc. have announced SixB Labels, the premier source for labels, decals and bar codes in the Southwest, has purchased and installed its second Epson SurePress® L-4033AW digital label press to meet increasing customer demands in the graphic, manufacturing, food, service, beauty, and health industries. SixB Labels purchased its second Epson digital label press for its wide range of full-color label capabilities to produce semi-gloss and BOPP labels, as well as to expand its short-run label printing offerings to customers.

Threadster is a “British Style and British Made” textiles manufacturer which continues to expand, having recently added two additional Epson dye sublimation printers and a DTG machine, all supplied by digital transfer specialist Xpres. In just two days the company installed two SureColor SC-F9200 dye sublimation presses and its first SC-F2000 DTG printer which together have increased its production capacity by 30 per cent.

Wrapzone produces vehicle decoration and unique, personalised decals for sports cars and company cars alike to act as brand ambassadors. Naturally, this places considerable demands on the technology.
