Epson has announced a new series of wide format printers designed for the professional inkjet printing industry. The company says its new SureColor P-Series family brings together the most sophisticated printing technologies available to deliver extraordinary results, whether for graphic design, contract proofing for commercial and flexographic printing, fine art, or photography.

Slough based Kili Arts has installed an Epson SureColor SC-F6000 44-inch digital dye sublimation printer and a Sefa 1510 heat press to produce its new range of high quality ChromaLuxe photographic prints and metal panels.

Epson has launched ColorWorks C7500, a compact colour label printer for a wide range of in-house, on-demand, customised labelling requirements.

Magnus Mighall, Partner at RA Smart (CAD & Machinery) is delighted to announce that RA Smart will be showing the Epson SC-F2000 Direct to Garment solution at four Newtech trade events throughout the country, starting at Durham on June 9-10, following on to Bristol on 14-15 July, Wetherby 6-7 October and finally London 24-25 November 2015.

Epson says applying decorative inks to aluminium photographic plates, iPhone cases, ceramic tiles, mugs, and wood has never been easier or more cost-effective thanks to its new DS Transfer Multipurpose Paper.

Hot on the heels of Mimaki announcing its latest textile dye sublimation printer is Epson who announced a new SureColor SC-F9200 printer and HDK Black ink to help manufacturers produce high-quality, mass-production textiles quickly and consistently, while keeping costs low.

Epson will continue to work in collaboration with Blooming Bryony Designs for FESPA 2015 in Cologne later this month as it did at Heimtextil 2015 in Frankfurt where Bryony showed how she can print her contemporary designs direct onto cushion covers and tote bags with the Epson SureColor SC-F2000 direct-to-fabric printer.

As one of the many former editors of Printwear & Promotion magazine over the years I confess to being somewhat nerdy when it comes to anything to do with printing onto textiles and apparel. It’s an occupational hazard I suppose, which is why I think the Epson SureColor SC-F2000 direct-to-garment dye-sublimation printer is one of the most intriguing pieces of textile printing kit I have seen in recent years.

YPS (Your Print Specialists) says it is excited to be returning to Sign & Digital UK this year to give visitors a taste of the extensive range of printing equipment it supplies, along with the care and knowledge its team provides.

Epson is all set for Heimtextil (14-17 January 2015, Messe Frankfurt, Stand F15 Hall 4) as the company teams up with DMI, the German Fashion Institute, to show textile designers and producers how they can create, proof and digitally print their textile colours all the way from mood board to the final product using Spring-Summer 2016 trend colours.

Epson is teaming up with select fashion designers from across the Americas to bring a unique experience to the runway in New York City during Fashion Week in February. Marrying fashion and technology, the Epson ‘Digital Couture’ event will feature 11 designers’ collections created using Epson’s dye sublimation print technology and will demonstrate the design freedom and capabilities of the technology for the fashion industry.
