As part of the International Cartoon Festival of Angoulême, MÉTROPOLE, a France-based specialist in event management, digital printing, and large-format 3D printing, has produced five life-size characters using its Massivit 3D printer – to the delight of commuters and festival-goers.

Massivit 3D, the leading provider of large format 3D printing solutions for visual communication applications, today announced that its customer, METROPOLE has created an ultra-realistic, full-size triceratops to promote a new palaeontology exhibition at Paris’ Musée national d'Histoire naturelle.

Paris-based sign and display company, METROPOLE, 3D printed this life-size replica of the much-loved Corto Maltese – an Italian adventure comic book series named after the an enigmatic sea captain.
