Epson today announced availability for its newColorWorks® C6000 series on-demand color label printers. The 8-inch ColorWorks CW-C6500A and CW-C6500Pare currently available and the 4-inch ColorWorks CW-C6000A and CW-C6000P are available for pre-order and will ship in April. All models are being sold through Epson’s vast network of authorized partners. The first printers specifically designed as a color upgrade to black-only thermal transfer printers,1 the new ColorWorks models are engineered for mission-critical applications and deliver high volume color labels for production use, speeding through labels at up to 5-inches per second.2

The Epson SurePress® L-6534VW UV digital label press is now available and on display at the Epson Demo Center in Carson, Calif. The SurePress L-6534VW enables high-speed printing that's ideal for producing labels and packaging with up to 164 feet per minute (fpm). The new press is now on display in the Epson Demo Center, which provides potential customers an opportunity to see and experience the complete lineup of Epson’s label and packaging printing solutions.

For label printer InForm Etiketten, sustainability and protecting the environment have always been a top priority – well before the ‘Fridays for Future’ movement began. Limo Labels has invested in a Xeikon CX3 digital label press. The agreement was completed at Labelexpo 2019. The privately owned company and leading manufacturer of labels in Scandinavia has made the investment to expand its digital capabilities and meet demand for growing volumes. The Xeikon CX3 will complement over 25 production lines in action at Limo Labels’ main plant in Stevnstrup in Denmark. These include a Xeikon 3300 digital Dry Toner press and 2 Xeikon Jetrion Inkjet presses. The company will take delivery of the new press in October 2019.

Dokument-Tarra Oy, a Finland-based label converter, has chosen the HP Indigo 6900 Digital Press to deliver innovative and more sustainable printing services to the Finnish market, including HP’s breakthrough silver ElectroInk.
