SIHL to showcase a range of POS products with fire safety certification at FESPA Munich 2019

March 18, 2019

From 14 to 17 May 2019 in Munich, Sihl will be showing a selected range of POS products with fire safety certification to verify that they are flame retardant (building material class B1) to DIN 4102-1.

Especially for events, in public buildings, airports and railway stations it is particularly important that media comply with safety standards and are flame retardant.

For this, SIHL is presenting the two permanently adhesive vinyl films for water-based inks SA Vinyl Plus 110 P-CA FR AQ matt 3635 and SA Vinyl plus 110 P-CA FR AQ glossy 3585 for high quality labels and advertising materials in photographic quality which, as of today, are B1-certified.

In addition to these products, Sihl will be focusing on its range of environmentally friendly, wet-strength papers for outdoor use at FESPA. One focus will be on the presentation of sustainable materials such as the TRISOLV billboard papers for poster and advertising applications, which is FSC-certified (Forest Stewardship Council).

Visitors can also expect an optimised light box film that offers excellent contrast and high radiance for their designs.

Sihl is presenting another innovation in its Roll-Up range. The product with a matt-silver reverse side for water-based ink systems is suitable for the cost-effective production of volume products that will be used in the short to medium term.

In hall A5, stand J155 Sihl is looking forward to all of its visitors!
