The couple digitize iconic places around the world, and then transport them to other locations. Their work is ushering in an innovative and unprecedented approach to photography!
To celebrate the festival of contemporary art of Avignon, Les Nivaux reproduced the pedestrian crossing in every detail in the heart of Les Celestins church at Avignon. The 32 m² floor artwork was printed by the french company ATC, using Mactac digital printing film JT 5829 R, and protected with anti-slip FloorGrip.
The three-week exhibition ‘CROSS THE SCAN - ABBEY ROAD’ invites the public to experience their own crossing, taking pictures and sharing them on social networks (#crossthescan).
