Established in 1988, Xeikon started the revolution in digital full colour printing out of a former Agfa production site in Mortsel, near Antwerp in Belgium. There, yet unknown to the outside world, it built the very first DCP-1 machine that was to be launched at Ipex 1993.

Xeikon is getting label converters ready for Labelexpo Europe 2019 (September 24 to 27) with the launch of its TRANSFORM advisory tool. Jim DeFife, VP Pressure-Sensitive Materials, Multi-Color Corporation has been chosen as the recipient of the prestigious R. Stanton Avery Global Achievement Award 2019. Judging for the annual Label Industry Global Awards, now in its 16th edition, took place on 5 June during the FINAT European Label Forum in Copenhagen. The panel of international judges considered entries for a total of six award categories and drew up a shortlist.

Xeikon, a subsidiary of Flint Group and market leader in digital colour printing technology for the graphic arts printing industry, is set to launch ‘The Power of Dry Toner’ campaign during Xeikon Café North America taking place in Chicago, Illinois 14 – 16 May. Xeikon Café Europe 2019 once again proves to be a leading event in the packaging industry’s calendar. With a creatively crafted conference programme providing a 360° view of the trends, challenges and solutions for today’s packaging industry and an application-driven technical Academy, this multi-vendor, educational and networking event attracted close to 1.000 visitors over the 3 days – this included over 500 label and packaging converters attending from over 55 countries.

Xeikon has appointed Klaus Nielsen as Director Xeikon Asia Pacific to continue to drive growth in the region and capitalize on expanding market opportunities. In his new role Mr. Nielsen will oversee Xeikon’s ongoing growth in the APAC region (Greater China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand).

The wallpaper system was installed at the production facility in February in Kolbermoor, Bavaria.
