Epson today announced its SureColor® F6200 dye-sublimation printer has won the SGIA 2018 Product of the Year Award in the “Roll-to-Roll Dye-Sublimation on Metal” category. This is Epson’s third consecutive year receiving the prestigious Product of the Year award in this category from the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association’s (SGIA) annual competition. Epson’s complete line of dye-sublimation solutions, including the winning SureColor F6200 printer and the new Epson DS Transfer Photo Paper will be shown in Epson’s booth at SGIA, #1414.

Epson have announced the Epson SurePress® L-6534VW digital label press. Joining the SurePress L-6034VW in the UV digital label press line, the SurePress L-6534VW will offer three print speed modes from 49 feet per minute to 162 feet per minute (fpm). Epson will be demonstrating the new SurePress L-6534VW, as well as the SurePress L-6034VW and L-4533AW and workflow automation solutions with Wasatch RIP, at Labelexpo Americas in Chicago from Sept. 25-27 at Epson’s booth #5813.

Epson have announced a new solution designed for creating dye-sublimation photo panels and other rigid substrates. New Epson DS Transfer Photo Paper, a high-quality, lightweight dye-sublimation transfer paper, combined with Epson SureColor® F-Series dye-sublimation printers, inks and Wasatch RIP support, creates a complete solution designed to produce rigid photos with advanced print quality and vibrant images with minimal grain, consistency and reliability.

Graphics One, the distribution arm of Prism Inks, announced today the launch of a new desktop dye sublimation system, GO SubliMate. GO SubliMate is the first desktop tabloid dye sublimation system to feature neon dye sub ink colors.

Epson have announced its Epson SurePress® L-4533A/AW digital label press has been evaluated and approved by Pantone®, the provider of professional color management services and tools, for its capability to achieve 91 percent1 of the PANTONE Solid Coated Colors within delta E of 1.5 CIEDE2000. The Epson SurePress L-4533A/AW is certified to reach its full Pantone coverage capabilities when used in conjunction with the Avery Primax 250TC/S692N/BG40W/BW6033B PS label media and Epson ink.

Gatsias Art, a Greek company with a long history in professional printing, has selected Epson's SureColor SC-P10000 for its photo printing.

Epson and world-renowned arts and design college Central Saint Martins have formed a collaboration that will support education and encourage students to experiment with its large format digital textile printers.
