Following close consultation with exhibitors and partners, the 2021 edition of drupa, the world’s leading trade fair for Printing Technologies, will be cancelled due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. The next event will take place as scheduled from 28 May to 7 June 2024. To maintain the momentum until then, the organisers will be holding a four-day digital event titled ‘virtual.drupa’, to take place from 20 to 23 April 2021 during the time frame drupa was originally scheduled for.

Resolve Business Management (RBM), organisers of the Printing Expo virtual Exhibition are pleased to announce the launch of their fully interactive 3D online experience. Starting Monday 30th November 2020 this unique online event will be available 365 days of the year. The show opens with Zone 1 as a preview and includes the Muller Martini Showroom and the HP Indigo Digital Pouch Factory. Zone 2 is scheduled to open in the very near future.

The second edition of drupa preview was again a successful event. Until today the new digital platform registered over 3,848 participants. International top speakers provided important impulses on current topics, technologies and trends in the field of print and packaging solutions.

On November 17, new lectures and teaser videos will go online on the digital platform drupa preview. International speakers such as Jack Stratten, Fons Put or Deborah Corn will present trending topics of the industry and give visitors the opportunity to interact with them by asking questions during the live web sessions. Additional input is provided by the Conference Area with short presentations about the special forums at drupa. Speakers such as Achim Halpaap or Michael Gale provide impulses for the future of the printing industry.

Fisher Textiles, a leading supplier of fabrics for digital printing, hosted its first-ever textile imaging symposium with industry partners Axiom America, DGI, Mutoh, REXframe and Practix Mfg. at its corporate headquarters on October 21-22, 2020.

The digital platform drupa preview was opened on 27 October. Over 1.900 interested visitors took part in panel discussions and live web sessions as spectators, received valuable input on current issues via video keynote speeches and virtually connected with exhibitors and industry players. The new digital platform drupa preview will be opened on 27. October, 2020 at 10:00 am (Central European time). A panel discussion with Project Director Print Technologies Sabine Geldermann, Dr. Markus Heering, Managing Director of the German Printing and Paper Technology Association (VDMA) and Dr. Christian Plenge, Executive Director Digital at Messe Düsseldorf, will present the new platform and address the current situation in the industry. Afterwards, companies and speakers will present important topics in live web sessions.

Out of an abundance of caution for employees, customers, prospects and partners, Electronics For Imaging, Inc. has canceled its planned exhibit at the drupa 2021 tradeshow taking place in Dusseldorf, Germany, next April.

The decision was made on Friday, September 18 to postpone Printwear & Promotion LIVE! 2021 from the scheduled dates of Sunday, February 21 to Monday, February 23, until later in the year.

FESPA has today announced that FESPA Mexico 2020 will be postponed to 23 – 25 September 2021. The exhibition, which was originally scheduled to take place from 26 – 28 November 2020, will again be hosted at the Centro Citibanamex in Mexico City.
