CMYUK has added Epson’s range of wide format resin ink printers to its equipment portfolio. The new SureColor SC-R series redefines resin ink-based printing, which up until now has been the domain of HP Latex print technology.
French printing software company Caldera has announced the release of new Epson drivers for CalderaRIP Version 14. These new drivers expand the award-winning software’s long list of supported peripherals and further enhance its user experience.
Epson have announced its first signage printers to feature multi-purpose resin ink are now available through authorized Epson Professional Imaging resellers. The 64-inch SureColor® R5070 and SureColor R5070L roll-to-roll signage printers with water-based resin ink consistently provide professional-quality wallpapers, fabrics, uncoated papers, and traditional signage at remarkable speeds. Both printers offer low ink costs and feature 1.5L ink packs for enhanced efficiency; the SureColor R5070L includes 3L per color with hot swap technology that automatically switches from an empty ink pack to a new pack mid-print for uninterrupted printing.
With the launch of the SureColor SC-R5000 Series, Epson has expanded its signage printer line up to include a resin ink solution, offering print service providers and creative design agencies the ability to produce a wide range of signage and high value applications with environmentally friendly, quality results. The printer is available from December 2020.
