Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill PJSC is an important player in the global packaging market. For their prototyping operations, the company recently invested in Zünd digital cutting technology. Summa, a leading manufacturer of high-end cutting plotters, proudly presents two new sizes of their finishing flatbed systems. The F3232 and F3220 are based on the proven technology of the Summa F Series. Through the expansion of the flatbed series, Summa strives to improve the synergy with the large format digital printer market and to meet the needs of their customers. The new flatbeds are expected to be ready for shipment in February / April 2019.

Gerber Technology is pleased to report that it has successfully completed two major expositions on both sides of the Atlantic on October 18-20, 2018 featuring the Gerber MCT Cutter and TigerVision™ software. Gerber Technology announced today that it has acquired MCT Digital, adding modular laser cutting technology to their existing industrial strength finishing solution hardware and software portfolio. The addition of MCT's high-end large format cutting builds on Gerber's heritage in the sign & graphics and packaging industries, as well as giving Gerber a key technology platform to serve its industrial markets.

Showcard have recently taken delivery of a new Elitron TAV-R 32.22 fully automatic cutting system. The new machine will give us maximum versatility when it comes to delivering short and complex production or intensive runs.

Cardiff based, digital print specialist Minuteman Press recently purchased a Vivid Matrix MX-370P for their lamination requirements. In a recent interview with Vivid’s marketing team Branch Manager, Louise Williams, explained how the purchase had come about and how the foiling and effects capability quickly opened new opportunities for them:
