Three long-serving employees at the Crawley centre of signage and visual communications specialists, FASTSIGNS, have joined forces to steer the business into an exciting new chapter.

New co-owners, husband and wife, Jose and Melanie Martinez and Alan White, have all worked for the Crawley centre for over 20 years before taking the step into ownership.

Launching in 1995, FASTSIGNS Crawley was one of the first FASTSIGNS centres to be opened in the UK. Melanie, who joined the team as a customer service representative and designer in the same year as it launched, has seen first-hand how the business has grown and evolved over its 24 years of establishment.

Commenting on the new ownership, Melanie said:

We’ve all worked in a company that we love for over two decades, so ownership has always been part of the bigger picture. Our years at FASTSIGNS have enabled us to develop our knowledge in every aspect of the business and we feel confident that we’re poised and ready to realise the centre’s full potential for growth.

"I think I can speak for us all when I say that we’re quietly confident that this is one of the best things we’ve ever done. We look forward to using the resources that the FASTSIGNS network can offer to explore new technologies in the sector, to stay at the forefront of this diverse and ever-changing industry.”

This follows new senior management changes across the franchise network. FASTSIGNS Enfield and Huddersfield have new ownership agreements with Oscar D’Souza and Keven Mitchell, respectively. FASTSIGNS Peterborough has appointed a new co-ownership with industry professional, Paul Robinson joining current franchisee, Richard Towers at the helm.

The changes come at an exciting time for the FASTSIGNS network as they continue to develop signage capabilities and extend their network reach across the UK.
