New reinforcement of Weerg's additive manufacturing department announcing the installation of the ProX® SLS 6100 printer by 3D Systems. Based on the most advanced Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) technology, this system is ideal for the rapid and cost-effective production of high-quality, functional and durable nylon parts. The implementation of ProX® SLS 6100 allows Weerg to offer new features and finishes for components made of SLS, thanks to the use of white DuraForm® materials supplied by 3D Systems which could be coloured with the Girbau systems already installed, significantly expanding the range of shades that can be selected by the customer at the time of ordering.

After having revolutionized the world of mechanics, Weerg presents itself with a new release, which enhances its offer with exclusive online services. With a new minimalist look, the platform that offers online CNC and 3D processing makes it even more immediate and user friendly to access new features that enhance the flexibility of the service. The customer journey starts from an essential home page that directs directly to the heart of Weerg: the online calculator. The undisputed asset of the e-shop, this tool guarantees unparalleled levels of precision, allowing the user to know in real time which parts of the piece to be produced cost more, so as to be able to optimize the project before moving on to the order. In addition, thanks to the proprietary software based on self-learning systems, the quotations are refined from time to time based on the real timings required by the processes that have already been carried out.

Benjamin Nenert, designer and specialized technician of Porsche, is the winner of the 2019 edition of Weerg 3D Printing Project Award, the social contest opened in early April. “Among the many nominations received on our Facebook and Instagram pages, we have chosen to award this project because it represents an example of simple creativity, as well as an intelligent integration of 3D and CNC technologies.”, said Matteo Rigamonti – founder of weerg.com, the platform which offers CNC and 3D machining online.

An award to promote innovation and experimentation culture in Design Manufacturing. With this objective in mind, Weerg, a Made in Italy platform that offers online CNC and 3D processing, announces the second edition of the "Weerg 3D Printing Project Award" contest. Contestants can win a coupon of €500 to spend on Weerg.com.

Easier, faster and increasingly complete. Weerg's offer - a platform that offers online CNC and 3D processing entirely Made in Italy - opens in 2019 with the introduction of a new service dedicated to those who order CNC parts and components. In fact, the range of finishes available for aluminium processing has been extended with the introduction of anodizing. This particular treatment consists in the application of a protective layer of about 25 microns that, in addition to the pure aesthetic factor, significantly improves the resistance of the parts to corrosion, wear and abrasion, increases the surface hardness and provides at the same time a moderate thermal insulation. Proposed by Weerg in the black colour, this ennoblement also facilitates the gluing and subsequent application of paints and lubricants.

Weerg an unprecedented platform that offers CNC and 3D online machining totally Made in Italy, continues its path of automation of processes in Industry 4.0 key by implementing within its production lines a new coordinate measuring machine Wenzel LH series. This latest generation solution, which allows precision measurements at very high speed, will be integrated with the innovative robotic arm systems on track that Weerg is installing for CNC machining carried out with the Hermle C42U 5-axis continuous machining centers.

One year of Weerg

October 25, 2018

2018 for Weerg.com - the platform that offers CNC and 3D online works totally Made in Italy - was marked by dynamism, the strengthening of production capacity, important investments in cutting-edge technologies and prestigious certifications. An exponential growth in Industry 4.0 that will see a further step in the imminent move to the new automated headquarters of Gardigiano. "Innovating is part of our DNA", says Matteo Rigamonti, CEO and founder of Weerg, a new formula developed by applying the business model of pure e-commerce to the mature mechanical market. The platform offers for free an exclusive online quotation service in real time, in addition to the advantages of certain delivery times starting from 3 days, high quality standards thanks to advanced production systems, all at extremely competitive costs.

And if innovation is its DNA from its establishment, Weerg - new platform that offers online CNC manufacturing and 3D printing - confirms the trend of exponential growth by announcing the imminent relocation to a new facility that triples the area dedicated to production.

Weerg's growth continues at a great pace. After the recent purchase of 6 Hermle machines, the online platform that offers CNC and 3D processing, marks the world's largest installation of HP Jet Fusion 4210 printers for 3D Printing. In this case, it is also an unprecedented agreement that envisages not only the doubling of the existing machine fleet with the arrival of 3 new, latest generation Jet Fusion 4210 systems, but also the technological upgrade of the 3 4200 printers already in operation in the Marghera headquarters. All for an investment that exceeds 3 million euros on the list.
