When Peter Castorena left his previous career behind as a retail buyer for Macy’s 13 years ago, he decided it was time to bet on himself and become his own boss. He decided that joining the Minuteman Press franchise family in Lancaster, CA was the right fit for him. Today, Peter is the newest member of the Minuteman Press International President’s Million-Dollar Circle as his design, marketing, and printing franchise has now achieved yearly gross sales of at least $1 million.

Minuteman Press International is proud to commemorate 30 years in business for the Minuteman Press design, marketing, and printing franchise in Seekonk, Massachusetts. Marc Frechette runs the family business that was started by his father in 1989. He says, “It is hard to believe we have been in business for this long. My father started this business 30 years ago and it has been a big part of my life since then. For me, I worked here part-time in high school and college. I am now a second-generation owner and my children are growing up knowing Minuteman Press just the way I did.”

Jeff Sirota, owner of the Minuteman Press design, marketing, and printing franchise in Carlsbad, California, is the newest member of the Minuteman Press International President’s Million-Dollar Circle. Jeff joined the Minuteman Press franchise family in 2015 and has now achieved yearly gross sales of at least $1 million.

What does life without print look like? That is the question answered in a new video released by Minuteman Press International, the world's leading design, marketing, and printing franchise. The video takes viewers on a journey of a typical day – waking up in the morning, driving to work, spending time at the office, ordering lunch, and coming home – and demonstrates just how different life would be without print.

It is with professionalism, good humour and refreshing honesty that Minuteman Press franchise owner Sam Porter engages his work life. As a CPA for twenty years, he not only worked to further the success of companies in both Australia and England, he had the trust of big-name organisations in the UK such as The Chelsea Football Club in England and The Western Bulldogs in Melbourne.

For 25 years, Marie Weiskircher, Tom Weiskircher, and their son U.S. Navy Veteran Greg Lester have run a successful Minuteman Press design, marketing, and printing franchise while maintaining work/life balance and a tightknit relationship. Greg says, “Our printing company is a family business. Besides all of the business opportunities it has afforded us, this journey has also been a great bonding experience for three generations of our family. Virtually everyone in our family has worked at least in a part time position at one time or another.”

Ken Barton is the newest member of the Minuteman Press International President’s Million-Dollar Circle. A retired CPA, Ken bought an established Minuteman Press design, marketing, and printing franchise in Dublin, Ohio in 2015. Under his leadership and with the support of Minuteman Press, Ken has grown the business significantly and his franchise has now achieved yearly gross sales of at least $1 million.

To run a family business for 25 years is a big achievement that is not lost on Minuteman Press franchise owner Bob Stone. Bob says, “You do something for a few years and everyone forgets but when you do the same work for 25 years, it defines you. For me it means I am Bob from Minuteman Press. For my wife Teresa it gives her an opportunity to support the non-profit organizations that mean the most to her and showcase her art. What was once a hobby is now an income stream through prints, lithographs, fabric printing, and murals. To the boys, it gives them a real sense of being part of the community. The connections we have here in this small little seaside village really creates strong ties to the community. Everybody needs printing and when your parents own the best not-so-little print center in town, well, you get to know a lot of people.”

Second-generation Minuteman Press franchisees Michael and Lindsey Weber are two of the newest members of the President’s Million-Dollar Circle. This recognition means that Michael and Lindsey are high achievers with yearly gross sales of at least $1 million.

The Minuteman Press franchise in Leesburg, Florida is in good hands with Susan Olsen. Susan brings with her a 20-year retail career and a passion for helping others and getting involved in the community. Susan says, “We are a full service, locally owned and operated print and marketing center. We offer everything from offset/digital printing in-house to all types of promotional products that you can imagine. We are fast and friendly, and we are here to help you create and design anything you need to help your business grow.”

To reach 30 years in business with a family-owned operation is an accomplishment worth celebrating. Derek and Louise Mercer have just reached the 30-year mark for their Minuteman Press printing franchise located at 1171 Brittmoore Road in Houston and have no signs of slowing down. Derek says, “I could not be prouder of the fact that we have been keeping our doors open for three decades and counting. We’ve been a part of the Minuteman Press President’s Million-Dollar Circle for 25 of those years, which is even more mind-blowing for us being such high achievers. It’s a testament to our persistence, our attention to detail, and our sheer will.”
