Founded in 1985, Bremen-based Wegner GmbH is a full-service commercial print business offering digital printing for brochures, booklets, calendars and photobooks for its ever expanding customer base. The company initially invested in Fujifilm’s flagship B2 inkjet press, the Jet Press 720S in 2015 to support its growing digital work, and following impressive results, upgraded to the Jet Press 750S in August 2019.

Founded in 1974, Aries Grupo de Comunicación is today a full-service commercial print business, producing a huge range of products, from books and calendars, to brochures, catalogues and packaging. In the summer of 2019 the company made the decision to invest in a Fujifilm Jet Press 750S in order to keep pace with growing customer demand for high-quality short-run work. 

Printer of 160 million books a year, Suffolk-based Clays has seen Fujifilm’s Jet Press 750S take on a hugely significant role for its short-run book cover production since installation in mid-2019 Established over 200 years ago, Clays is recognised as a market leading book production specialist. Its 14 acre Bungay site employs 700 staff and processes an extraordinary 50,000 orders a year for 160 million books from some of the best known publishers in the UK. In July 2019, the company became the second in the UK to invest in Fujifilm’s Jet Press 750S to further enhance its digital printing operations.

One of Britain’s most celebrated fashion photographers, Nick Knight, has worked with some of the world’s leading fashion designers, including Yohji Yamamoto, John Galliano and Alexander McQueen. He’s photographed advertising campaigns for iconic brands like Christian Dior, Calvin Klein and Yves Saint Laurent. He’s directed music videos for Lady Gaga and Kanye West. And all the while, British photographer Nick Knight has been working on a personal project: taking photos of roses from his garden – on an iPhone.

Fujifilm announces that its highly regarded third generation B2 inkjet press has been awarded Fogra certification for contract proofing, including FOGRA51 and FOGRA52 accreditation for premium coated and uncoated wood-free substrates respectively. This follows tests carried out at Fujifilm's Advanced Print Technology Centre in Brussels, using Fujifilm's own proprietary XMF ColorPath colour management software.

Fujifilm has announced that reputable German commercial print company Straub Druck + Medien AG, based in Schramberg, installed a Jet Press 750S in May 2019 to meet growing business demands. A long-term Fujifilm customer, the company already owned two Jet Press 720S presses, making this the company’s third Fujifilm Jet Press installation. Straub Druck + Medien produces a range of high quality printed products, both long and short run, including brochures for luxury brands, short-run promotional packaging and calendars and mailings for regional, national and international customers. It also offers a wide variety of processing and finishing options for all applications.

At the prestigious EDP (European Digital Press) Association awards in Munich on Wednesday 15th May, Fujifilm’s Jet Press 750S was selected ahead of other competitors to be named digital press of the year in the “cut sheet colour B2(+)” category.

FloriColor, based in Porto, has become the first Portuguese printer to invest in Fujifilm’s flagship Jet Press B2 inkjet press, and one of the first printers anywhere in Europe to invest in the brand new, third generation Jet Press 750S. The press will be installed in January 2019.

Originally founded as a copy shop near Hamburg University in the early 1980s, Mediadruckwerk is now a major full service print business employing 60 people and producing a huge range of quality products, from postcards and greetings cards, to brochures, calendars, posters, stationery, packaging, annual reports and high quality short run books. Offering an end-to-end service, the company’s capabilities include sheet-fed offset, digital print technologies and web-2-print as well as various finishing systems, graphic design and logistics. Operating out of a 3,500 square metre facility, the company is currently making a major investment in its future, building an additional new 2,000 square metre hall, which will house all of its existing digital print equipment as well as a brand new Fujifilm Jet Press 750S, which will be installed in early 2019.

With higher productivity of 3,600 B2 sheets per hour, and a range of other changes which further improve the already impressive up-time, versatility, colour capability and quality, the Jet Press 750S is now the fastest, full colour, B2 sheet-fed digital press on the market.
