Massivit 3D Printing Technologies has installed its ground-breaking Massivit 1800 3D printer at Carisma Large Format Printing in Brooklyn New York for the production of large scale marketing and promotional items.

Papergraphics has secured the exclusive rights to distribute the Massivit 1800 super-sized, super-fast 3D printing solution the UK and Ireland with plans to provide interested parties with one-to-one demonstrations at its Crawley-based headquarters from May 2016.

The majority of PSPs will continue to scratch their heads when it comes to how 3D printing can work for their business, alongside the few who have already put a toe in the water and have made minor investments in desktop 3D printing technology, mostly just to have a play and see if they can figure the angles on where the market might be headed.

Ricoh launch 3D printer

Ricoh has announced the release of its first 3D Printer – the Ricoh AM S5500P – a high-end 3D printer offering PA6 and PP materials support which are commonly used in the automotive manufacturing industry.

Massivit 3D Printing Technologies, an Israeli company co-founded by the successful innovator and entrepreneur Gershon Miller, has developed a ground-breaking superfast large format 3D printer that can print two separate objects at the same time up to 1.8m/6ft high at a speed of 35cm/1ft per hour.

Stratasys has appointed Andy Middleton to President of Stratasys EMEA following his previous role as Senior VP and General Manager. Middleton will assume responsibility for Stratasys' EMEA team along with overall responsibility for driving the expansion and development of the Stratasys brand and proposition in EMEA.

MakerBot Europe, a subsidiary of Stratasys, and Datech, Tech Data Europe's specialist brand for the value-added distribution of Autodesk design software, will work together in distributing MakerBot 3D printing and scanning products in the European countries of Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Spain.
