Nano Dimension Ltd. (Nasdaq: NNDM), (“Nano Dimension” or the “Company”), an industry leader in Additively Manufactured Electronics (AME)/3D-Printed Electronics (PE), and Micro Additive Manufacturing (Micro-AM) announced today the acquisition of Global Inkjet Systems Ltd. (GIS).

Xaar’s Ultra High Viscosity Technology is providing manufacturers with an array of new and practical production possibilities, offering the chance to print without limits and drive creativity.

The productivity and creative benefits of adding 3D printing to almost any model-making business are clear, but the cost and complexity of the process can often be a barrier. With the launch of Mimaki’s complete and affordable 3D printing solution - comprising the Mimaki 3DUJ-2207, 3D Print prep Pro software and the 3DCS-322 post-processing unit – the end-to-end 3D printing process is now easier to implement and operate than ever before, making the dream of adding full colour 3D printing now a reality.

After months of testing, the R&D team at Weerg - a manufacturing company that offers CNC machining and in-line 3D printing in Italy and abroad - has launched an exclusive new material for additive manufacturing with FDM technology. It is PEEK, an organic thermoplastic polymer with exceptional mechanical properties. A plus that guarantees a performance similar to that of aluminum, making it perfect for metal replacement. PEEK is now available online at weerg.com where, thanks to the versatility of additive manufacturing, it is possible to order 3D prints of complex geometries with an instant quote and delivery in just 3 days.

Xaar’s printheads have again been selected by industrial 3D printing manufacturer dp polar GmbH to power the latest addition to their range, the AMpolar® i1, which is to be unveiled at this year’s Formnext Show in Frankfurt, on 16-19th November.

Recently, ceramic 3D printer and material manufacturer Tethon 3D announced a partnership with composite 3D printing start-up Fortify to develop more technical ceramic materials for 3D printing. By increasing the portfolio of advanced ceramics available for 3D printing, the two companies aim to advance the adoption of ceramic 3D printing in technical applications.

Mimaki Europe, the leading manufacturer of inkjet printers and cutting systems, has announced that its new technologies to be launched at Formnext 2021 (16-19 November, Hall 12.1, Stand G21) will offer a complete 3D printing solution designed to streamline and optimise 3D model production with increased automation. As a result, these new technologies aim to further accelerate the adoption of high-quality, full-colour 3D printing.

HP Multi Jet Fusion industrial printing systems print build structures that can be filled with hundreds of 3D objects, with the same quantity, size and shape, or with different characteristics. The production costs of a build structure are fixed, regardless of the number of parts it contains. Therefore, by optimizing the parts that constitute the structure, it is possible to reduce the unit production costs. Weerg's facility in Venice, Italy, is now hosting the largest installation of HP Multi Jet Fusion model 5210 3D printers in Europe. The company, which offers online 3D printing and CNC machining through the weerg.com platform, has developed a new product aimed at high-volume production customers, such as professional, service and industrial customers, who can now purchase a 3D Build unit.

New internationalization strategy for Weerg, manufacturing service that offers online CNC manufacturing and 3D printing. The company is targeting European markets and is now offering a native language version to users in Germany, France and Spain, ensuring an increasingly global purchasing experience. "Although we only had an English-language site, our online service received over 400,000 visitors from all over Europe, including many German, French and Spanish companies, for whom we have already manufactured more than 1 million parts," comments founder Matteo Rigamonti. This is a sign of a growing interest in the Weerg formula, which aims to bring efficiency, savings, and simplicity to the world of mechanics and additive manufacturing even beyond national borders. Hence the decision to offer international customers an increasingly complete purchasing experience, investing in the creation of websites and customer service in native languages. "We were born in Italy 6 years ago. Today, the unicity of our business model and our production department lead us to break down language barriers, so we can offer the main European markets an even more efficient service," Rigamonti continues.

Xaar, the leading inkjet printing technology group, has conditionally agreed terms with its joint partner Stratasys Solutions Limited to sell its remaining interest in Xaar 3D Ltd.

Kornit Digital Ltd. (NASDAQ: KRNT), a worldwide market leader in digital textile production technologies, announced today the acquisition of all associated assets of Somerville, Massachusetts-based Voxel8.

Additive Manufacturing (AM) is no longer the way of the future.  It IS the future. It is a proven technology that is radically changing the way products are made from shoes to NASA rocket parts. After years of stagnating productivity, many manufacturers are utilizing this transformative technology for large-scale production to increase flexibility and speed production times, leading to real innovation.

3D printing of fiber-reinforced polymers is rapidly approaching a commercial tipping point. This is quickly becoming one of the most exciting and impactful areas of 3D printing; over the next decade the market will grow to $2 billion, the installed base and applications will expand, and technology will continue to mature. This growth will not be without challenges; there are barriers to adoption to be overcome in multiple sectors, supply chains & digital infrastructures to be established, and an inevitable consolidation in the number of manufacturers.
