The Islington team of graphics experts were tasked with revamping the iconic former textile factory which houses 80 bedrooms, hot tubs, a penthouse and new Marco Pierre White restaurant, Mr. White’s English Chophouse.
The project involved designing and fitting fascia lettering across the front of the building using a 15m cherry picker, three projection signs, window graphics and stitching, internal vinyls, illuminated window menus, a banner, directional signage and frosting and acrylic wall graphics.
Commenting on the project’s success, FASTSIGNS Islington owner, Shahzad Ahmad, said:
“This has been a really fantastic project to work on. New Road Hotel is a really unique space steeped in history so it’s great to have played a part in breathing new life into the venue.
“Projects of this scale often pose many difficulties, not least when you take into the account the challenges involved with using cherry pickers at such a height. However, we’re pleased to be able to have completed the project in such a short space of time, from first contact to installation took just just two weeks and we are thrilled to have helped transform the space into a truly fantastic, individual hotel.”
Further successes for the signage company this year also included the recent recruitment of new sales representative, Mark Newbery, who joins Lance Armstrong forming a strong sales team to facilitate plans for further team and business expansions scheduled for later in the year.
John Davies, managing director of FASTSIGNS UK, said:
“A massive well done to Shahzad and the team at FASTSIGNS Islington for what has proven to be a very strong first six months trading. The fact that they were able to complete a project of that scale in such a tight timeframe is a testament to their hard work and expertise, and I look forward to seeing what success the next six months will bring for them.”
FASTSIGNS Islington forms an integral part of a network of 20 UK FASTSIGNS franchises.
