The family of roll-to-roll and flatbed Acuity industrial printers, ideal for different high-quality applications on webs and rigid materials, including display graphics, signage, transfers, environmental graphics and packaging prototypes, in all sizes including super-wide, with the Acuity LED 1600 and 3200 R already well-known and appreciated by users the world over, has recently been extended with two important, latest-generation developments: Acuity Ultra, with widths of 3 and 5 metres and productivity of up to 200 sq.m per hour, and Acuity B1, which performs all the various applications with digital technology that were previously associated with the screen-printing process.
The highly productive industrial UV flatbed Onset X platform completes the range of Fujifilm digital systems and can be integrated with industrial printing processes on metal sheets, cardboard and other media, alongside the Inkjet Jet Press 720 S digital printing machine, in size B2, which produces exceptionally high-quality results. Management of the production process is entrusted to the XMF workflow. Compatible with even the most diverse of size files, developed with JDF native architecture and equipped with Adobe PDF Print Engine, XMF enables you to view the colour tests in 3D, integrate the imposition server and have a Colorpath Sync system for colour management and optimisation of ink consumption.
For users of traditional offset and flexo procedures, who continue to represent a large percentage of the market, Fujifilm offers solutions in line with the most up-to-date trends. These include computer-to-plate systems with the complete automation of the metal plate exposure cycles in sizes B2, B1 and VLF, and the Superia plates, in both the different HD LH versions for traditional development and the new ZP and ZD processless versions, which have entirely eliminated the need for treatment chemicals. In particular, the Superia ZDs are the only plates that are officially certified as corresponding to the current European standards regarding packaging materials intended to come into direct contact with food products.
Last but not least, the innovative photopolymer Flenex FX, which can be washed using water, has been designed specifically for flexo printing to provide the highest printing quality for a wide range of applications.
