Canon says it has enhanced its long established Essential Business Builder Program (EBBP) with the introduction of a series of new themed workshops and curriculum based educational packages designed to guide and support its customers along their journey of learning and business development.

The recent FESPA 2015 Global Expo in Cologne has smashed attendance records by drawing the largest total audience ever for a FESPA event, with 43,775 visits over the five days of the show, an increase of 17% compared with the previous flagship FESPA event in London in 2013.

Print and visual communications specialist Callprint has acquired the business operations of Manchester based PPS Print Communications. PPS will act as a Manchester hub for Callprint’s operations in the north before converting to a full Callprint operation during the summer.

According to FESPA, of the 23,137 visitors to FESPA Global Expo 2015, some 88% were from Europe, 5% from Asia, 4% from the Middle East and Africa and 3% from the Americas. As anticipated, Germany had the largest visitor delegation, followed by the Netherlands, the UK, Belgium, Italy and France, although no figures have been released for the number of UK visitors, some 68% of attendees came from outside of the host nation.

Every now and again somebody makes good use of Xtranormal video animation to amusingly highlight common issues found within our industry, and this Is Print Dead video is certainly a very good example.

Antalis UK is to continue its regional workshops aimed at print service providers looking to expand their knowledge of new applications and explore opportunities to enable them to extend their services and increase revenue streams.
