Caldera_iPad_CostView
It didn’t take long for iPad apps to start appearing in the print sector and Caldera Graphics, a software company that develops markets and supports high quality technological software for wide format imaging has started the ball rolling with its very own digital dashboard for its COSTVIEW 2.0 software.

The company says that with its module users will be able to use their iPad to calculate all costs pertaining to a job such as printing costs, finishing, shipping, machine amortisation or other overhead costs. Users can also export their job listings with all relevant costs as a spreadsheet ready for further analysis in other “csv” compliant software.

Fully integrated within the Caldera RIP, COSTVIEW 2.0 enables production cost management and monitoring as well as the set-up of a pricing policy. It is a production management solution which extracts information about jobs directly from the RIP spooler, enabling a production manager to control, modify, study and export all costs pertaining to a job.
