It started with bamboo as an alternative fibre to cotton, but now a snowboard manufacturer, Burton Snowboards and a manufacturer of fizzy drinks, Mountain Dew, have announced a new partnership focused on manufacturing printwear made from 50% recycled plastic bottles and 50% organic cotton.
It’s a great idea, especially for the drinks manufacturer, and seeing as many small print service providers supply a range of printed t-shirts and embroidered apparel, this would be really cool if it ever caught on and went into mass production.
I wonder what would happen if you tried to add an image using the heat transfer process?
