Australian V8 Supercar champions rely on Roland

2011-Champions-650

Wide format manufacturer Roland DG Australia and 2011 V8 Supercar champions TeamVodafone will continue their successful partnership into 2012.

Coming off a highly successful 2011, which saw Jamie Whincup take out the V8 Supercar Championship title ahead of teammate Craig Lowndes, TeamVodafone are preparing for another big year in 2012, and will once again rely on Roland equipment for all their printing requirements. The new Holden Commodore's, the re-designed transporter, the pit walls and other equipment will all be produced by the team’s Roland XC-540MT printer/cutter with metallic ink technology, and finished with the Roland VersaLAM laminator and VersaCUT print trimmers.

TeamVodafone commercial operations manager Peter Jamieson says: "We had a very successful 2011 both on and off the track, highlighted by the fact that we also won the 'Best Presented Team' which we have to thank the Roland equipment as it played a big part, by reliably producing exceptional results for all our in-house graphic needs.

“Since receiving the Roland equipment, we have been constantly impressed with its capabilities and are looking forward to extending the car livery boundaries into the future. Our aim is to remain at the forefront of the Championship, and the XC-540MT gives us the ability to consistently deliver quality prints, meaning our cars will continue to look fantastic, allowing us to focus on winning races!"
