Mimaki making plans for FESPA

Mimaki is gearing up for FESPA Digital but is remaining firmly tight lipped on the proposed launch of several new products it is currently keeping under wraps.

Mike Horsten, marketing manager at Mimaki says: “Mimaki will be launching many new innovations at FESPA and we will clearly demonstrate our leadership in the market. Our stand will include both new products and new features, reinforce our dedication to environmental sustainability, and showcase our philanthropic efforts.”

FESPA Digital 2012 will mark the European debut of Mimaki’s new superfast TS34-1800A Sublimation Transfer Inkjet Printer, announced in November of 2011. This new printer was designed specifically for the sublimation transfer market with high speed and quality in mind.

Sublimation transfer printing is widely utilised for sportswear applications due to the elasticity and quick-drying capability of polyester material and in the growing market for soft signage applications, such as flags, retail in-store banners, and tapestries. In addition, Mimaki will show its range of UV flatbed products, including the JFX-1631plus and the recently launched UJF-3042FX.

UK visitors will be well served by Mimaki’s UK & Ireland distributor Hybrid Services Ltd. Marketing manager, Duncan Jefferies says: “Mimaki’s attendance at FESPA is important not just for Mimaki but for Hybrid too. We’re aware of a significant number of visitors attending from the UK and Ireland so there will be a strong presence from the Hybrid team on the Mimaki stand. Companies making the journey to Barcelona in February can expect a lot of exciting new products and initiatives from Mimaki but we’ll certainly be bringing plenty back to the UK for those who can’t make it.”

FESPA Digital is scheduled for February 21-24, 2012 in Barcelona, Spain.
