Jetrix 2030 printer

Quantum UV Technologies was straight out of the blocks at Sign & Digital UK 2012 last week with an order placed for the new Jetrix 2030 printer via Digital Print Innovations on day one.

The printer was purchased on the back of an agreement with Midlands based Premier Finishes to acquire the exclusive global rights to develop and market inks containing Hygienilac, an extremely effective anti-bacterial additive which is FDA and HSE approved and is 99.9% effective with all known superbugs.

Hygienilac is one of the best known anti-bacterial brands and found in a number of applications including furniture, plastics, high street detergents and textiles. Now following a rigorous process of development and testing Quantum have perfected a unique product which offers anti-bacterial properties without any compromise to the print quality.

Quantum feels that this unique service will be of particular interest to the medical/health, food, defence and education sectors and they have already received orders for these products from a number of major UK supermarkets. Quantum is now in the process of developing a number of products for both the domestic and international markets utilising the capability of the Jetrix machine and new ink developments.

Rio Olympics puts digital textile printing firmly on the map

Rio Olympics puts digital textile printing firmly on the map

One of the key things to strike me about the TV coverage of the 2016 Olympics from Rio de Janeiro in Brazil is how much the Olympics have become a showcase for the graphic display industry. Sporting arenas in general are often dull looking concrete structures, but given that the...
