Notable speakers included Paresh Shetty (pictured), country business manager for Signage at HP India, who noted that Indian printing companies need to upgrade their business offering to move from being simple print service providers to marketing service providers.
Delegates at the two day international conference were treated to a series of enlightening presentations and discussions on a range of subjects including chemistry of inkjet inks, printing technologies, digital textile printing, UV inkjet, digital colour management and future trends in inkjet technology.
Conference organiser Aditya Chandavarkar says: “These are exciting times for the digital printing industry in India. The motive of this conference was to help spread further awareness about digital printing technologies and bring together the fast emerging digital printing community in India. From the response that we have had thus far I’d say that we have exceeded our expectations.”
