New Sign Trade Services Pavilion announced for Sign Digital UK resized

For sign makers this one stop shop for essential sign making tools and equipment, the Pavilion, will showcase suppliers offering day-to-day items, including sign blanks and accessories, tool kits, fittings and fixings, built up letters and LED lighting.

Suppliers showcasing their range of tools and products include Archer Trade Signs, chevronshop.com, Kunshan Yijiao Industrial Co., Latitude Mapping, PowerPax Signmaking Tools, Signtrade Letters and Welwyn Tool.

Developed directly in response to 2016 visitor feedback, this new show feature is one of a wide a range of 2017 show experiences dedicated to the sign making professional.

This year’s Sign & Digital UK will see a huge range of new and returning exhibitors of particular interest to the sign industry.

New exhibitors making their show debut include 2innovate Solutions Ltd, APA UK, BERGMAN/Art Neon Lighting, Boxford Ltd, Brett Martin, Clarity LED Ltd, DTP Supplies, Inurface Media, and Righton, Signpromax, and UK Metalcraft.

Returning exhibitors not to be missed include Antalis, Emo Neon, Global Erecting Sign Services, Innotech Display & Design,Multipanel Ltd, One Digital Solutions, R A Smart, Signmaster Systems, Sign-Tronic, Signwaves, Spandex, Tigrox and Zund Plotting Systems.

The show will also feature a daily line up of seminars and workshops exploring the sign making industry’s most in demand skills.   

The ever-popular Signmakers’ Workshop is back and features practical demonstrations from expert sign maker Paul Hughes. These sessions run each day of the show and will cover topics including the application of vinyls, vehicle livery and wrapping, wall and floor graphics and making signboards.

In the new Creative Theatre, speakers will discuss a range of topics from ‘Creative retail sign solutions’, ‘Do’s and don’ts of colour management’ ‘Innovation in directional and wayfinding signage’, through to session on ‘Creative solutions with digital (LED) signage’ which will explore the latest creative and technological approaches to digital signage, perfect for sign makers looking to diversify their services. Speakers include Josh Bunce, CEO of Inurface Media, Danny Adamson, Group Managing Director of Stocksigns and David Fagg, Sales & Marketing Director for John Anthony Signs.

For sign making professionals looking to expand their operation, this year’s Business Theatre features expert speakers and case studies designed to help businesses grow and improve. Topics set to be covered include the practicalities of running a franchise, options for accessing new and used equipment for your business and business diversification opportunities available in the wide format, pop-up retail and soft signage sectors.

A session from Philips Lighting Intellectual Property on Wednesday 28 March is a must attend if you make or sell illuminated signs that use LEDs. Sign Companies can and may, unwittingly make use of protected Intellectual Property in the form of patents and so this presentation is vital to your awareness of how Philips Lighting Patents may be relevant to you.

Finally, the BSGA will again be onsite to help businesses stay up to date with the latest regulations. The ‘Sign maintenance and planning regulation’ session led by David Catanach from the BSGA will cover all obligations for supplying, installing and maintaining signs.
