Soyang appoints wide format sales specialist Jos Kattenbeld
Soyang has appointed wide format display sales specialist Jos Kattenbeld as continental sales manager with responsibility for Benelux, Germany and the Scandinavian markets. Soyang Technologies is a company based in Hangzhou China, with its European warehouse based in Manchester in the UK.
Soyang Europe is the UK's premier supplier of PVC reinforced banner and textile materials for wide format and grand format digital printing graphics up to 5m wide. The company’s 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Bury, Greater Manchester holds over 1 million m2 of digital stock offering a diverse range of media for solvent/eco solvent/UV/latex and sublimation printing.
Soyang Europe managing director Mark Mashiter says: “Soyang is relatively new company, having been established just 10 years ago, but has come a long way in that time as a recognised supplier of high quality graphics media and industrial textiles.”
Mr. Kattenbeld has extensive experience working in the offset and printing industry in Europe, prior to moving with his family to New Zealand six Years ago where he has worked in the large format digital printing industry in New Zealand and Australia.
Previous roles while working in the Southern Hemisphere included working as a senior account manager for Panda Visuals, selling services that cover every aspect of signage, screen, large format digital printing and dye sublimation printing to end users. For the past three years he has worked as sales manager in New Zealand for the Halifax Vogel Group, importing and distributing digital media for the print and sign, screen, and label industry. He has recently returned to reside in Holland.
“Acting on both sides of the fence has given me a good understanding of what the end users need and expect in regards to quality and applications,” he says. “And this provides the ability to advise customers on the most suitable Soyang product to get the maximum result in a cost efficient way.”
