Tamar Labels enjoys fair success

The Speciality & Fine Food Fair is the UK’s principal trade event for local, regional and artisan food and drink held over three days the Olympia Exhibition Centre in September 2012.
Among those exhibiting was Tamar Labels, a privately owned manufacturer of printed labels and tags. According to Tamar Labels managing director Robert Lee (middle), the show was a great success as far as promoting Tamar as a supplier of bespoke labelling solutions to the independent food producers and retailers visiting the show.
“Our strength lies in our ability to produce high quality bespoke labels with no minimum quantity thanks to our two HP Indigo label presses,” says Mr. Lee. “This is why we were confident that exhibiting at the Speciality & Fine Food Fair was the right move for us because we are more than able to adequately meet the needs of this growing market.”
The company recently invested in a Roland VersaSTUDIO BN-20 digital inkjet printer to produce prototype packaging and POS materials and is now starting to provide some customers with additional products such as retail point of purchase merchandise packs to further help boost the shelf appeal of their products.
This 20” wide integrated desktop device prints full colour, plus metallic or white, and contour cuts on a full spectrum of media to produce everything from stickers, decals, labels, t-shirt transfers, POS and POP, photo prints, posters and small format signage and vehicle graphics.
