Esko partners with Roland for labels and packaging seminar success

Esko's annual UK Software Seminar on 6th September at Loughborough University is aimed at helping companies in the sign and display sectors to maximise the business creation possibilities offered by Esko's solutions portfolio.
The programme for the day includes reviews of all the enhancements addressing sign and display artwork, management, design and prepress, colour management, workflow automation, project management and process integration. Throughout the day, visitors will also be given the opportunity to get up close and personal with Roland’s market-leading print and cut devices.
Roland specialists will be on hand to demonstrate to guests the Roland VersaCAMM VS-420 and VersaUV LEC-330 wide format inkjet print and cut devices. The printer/cutters will be put through their paces on the day, producing on-demand and cost-effective packaging proofs, prototypes and labels.
Among the Esko solutions on the day will include Suite 12, a major update release for the packaging, label, sign and display industries, which focuses on adding value for the user by introducing new productivity and efficiency, as well as facilitating mobile collaboration and web-based management workflows.
Esko's commitment to sharper more accurate digital imaging will be showcased via HD Flexo, while 3D Visualizer will highlight the time and cost savings possible via highly creative mock ups that can even be viewed on-shelf for a retail realistic experience.
In addition, there will be a host of creative solutions that are designed to enable time and cost savings throughout the production process, using everything from automatic file checking, through to online approvals and project management.
Also partnering Esko at the event will be X-Rite, who will be showcasing its PantoneLIVE, which was launched in March, Esko's wide-format distributor Digital Print Innovations (DPI) and The Quick Brown Fox, who will be demonstrating how to integrate its Aramis MIS system into an automated workflow in order to generate extra power.
